Axolotl Armaggedden

A biology teacher accidently causes the end of the world after carelessly introducing his beloved pet axolotl to some toxic fungi.

This film is a stop-motion animated short that I worked on as part of my degree. I was involved in more of a production assistant role, due to my lack of experience with stop-motion. I was involved in helping create the models, sets and sound effects, as well as primarily being in charge of recording the animation. This was a very involved project that required many hours of filming for very little output, so it was an important learning experience for how important patience and persistance are for making ambitious projects
