Good Morning

Good Morning is an experimental short film that I wrote and directed for my university course. When developing this film, me and the crew wanted to push ourselves to make something outside the box that challenges audiences. This was an incredibly involved short to make, since we shot the entire film in only two takes, revolving around a highly choreographed moment in which we--in camera-- switch out our actor Garrick McMullin with a prosthetic torso designed and created by Molly Hipkiss. This film demanded a lot out of me as a director, partially because of how different and ambitious of a shoot it was, but also as it was my first time directing professional actors. However, the film was a success, and led to us hiring Garrick again to work with us on Thorax.
