A lonely young man's obsession with a rare, mysterious spider spells doom for those closest to him...
Thorax is the most significant short film I have been involved with. Whilst I usually tend towards more creative roles on my projects, this time I took on the role of 1st Assistant Director, which was a new challenge for me. Additionally, I took on the role of Producer partway through production in response to the overwhelming demands of such an ambitious project, since this role needed to be filled in our crew. As a result, I focused on creating schedules, casting and communicating with actors, organising and running crew meetings, looking after the actors on set, ensuring the schedule was running smoothly on the shot days and primarily making sure every one of our over twenty days on set was as professional, efficient and stress free as possible. This film as incredibly challenging, however I made the most of it and met the demands of my new roles
